2025.08.27

On May 17, 2025, the “2025 O.S.P T.Namiki Fun Party” was held in South Korea, organized by Lunker Co., the official distributor of O.S.P products in the region. This special event welcomed two distinguished guests from Japan: Toshinari Namiki, the founder of O.S.P, and rising staff member Syouki Okada. Their visit marked a significant step in deepening ties between Japanese and Korean bass fishing communities.

The event drew approximately 70 enthusiastic Korean fans of O.S.P, all eager to engage with the brand and its representatives. The seminar portion of the event featured in-depth discussions on the unique characteristics of O.S.P lures, including the design philosophy behind their effectiveness and the reasons they consistently deliver results in diverse fishing conditions. Attendees were particularly captivated by a live casting demonstration conducted from a bass boat set up in the venue’s parking area, offering a rare opportunity to observe lure action and presentation techniques firsthand.

For Okada, this was his first visit to Korea. Known for his expertise in bank fishing, he conducted a seminar highlighting his personal approach to bass fishing across various Japanese fields. Despite being in his early twenties, Okada has already gained recognition for his technical precision and his commitment to continually refining his skills under the mentorship of Namiki. His presentation resonated strongly with local anglers, many of whom found inspiration in his youthful energy and dedication to the sport.

In addition to the main event, Namiki and Okada spent the previous day fishing in Korean waters. Namiki explored the local field by boat, while Okada focused on bank fishing. Although it was their first time fishing in Korea, both successfully landed high-quality bass, demonstrating the adaptability of their techniques and the effectiveness of O.S.P lures in unfamiliar environments. Footage from this fishing excursion is scheduled to be released on Lunker Co.’s official YouTube channel, offering fans a closer look at their experience.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to interact directly with Korean anglers and share the deeper values that define bass fishing. Korean fishing fields are known for their pristine environments and healthy fish populations, but catching these fish requires more than luck—it demands precise lure control, strategic presentation, and a deep understanding of fish behavior. These elements are what make bass fishing so rewarding, and O.S.P remains committed to sharing this philosophy with anglers worldwide.

The “2025 T.Namiki Fun Party” was not only a celebration of fishing—it was a meaningful cultural exchange that underscored the importance of international collaboration in the angling community. O.S.P looks forward to future opportunities to reconnect with Korean anglers, share new techniques, and continue building a global network of passionate bass fishermen.

Let’s keep fishing together, across borders and beyond expectations.
